New here?Kirkjulækjarkot is a Pentecostal congregation in Fljótshlíð. We want to be an open community where people find hope, friendship and room to grow in faith, wherever they are.
The church is in Fljótshlíð, east of Hvolsvöllur, about 100 km from Reykjavík, surrounded by nature and community.
We meet on Sundays at 11:00. The service is in Icelandic and everyone is welcome.
You do not need to be a member or know everything. Come as you are, try a service and see how it feels.

No. Come as you are. No one expects you to know songs or formulas. The first step is often just to come and experience a service.
No. The church is the local congregation that meets regularly at Kirkjulækjarkot. Kotmót is an annual gathering of the wider movement, held in a larger hall on the grounds owned by the movement. Both share the same community roots, but they are different things.
A usual service is about 60–90 minutes from start to finish. Afterwards there is often coffee and a chance to chat.
We want families to feel at home. Details about children and what is on offer are best asked on site or by contacting us beforehand.
Come to a Sunday service. If you like, message us beforehand, but that is not required. We are glad to see you.
